Welcome to Peer Court

Thank you and congratulations on your interest in the Peer Court and Youth Accountability Board program. Volunteers provide a vital community service to youth and families and are supporting the City and County of San Francisco in its efforts to partner with the community to improve the juvenile justice system.

Peer Court is a youth leadership program, a community empowerment program and a juvenile justice alternative program all rolled into one.

As a volunteer, you will complete training and begin service in your school or neighborhood. You will encourage community safety and accountability and you will help to reduce the impact of the juvenile justice system on your community. Your voice, energy and participation are essential at Peer Court: the program couldn’t exist without you!
